Wildlife Paintings
As a new painter, I started by trying techniques and working either from ideas I had seen or from pictures to see what was possible. Some were fanciful, some were quite realistic. I have moved beyond this, to painting what brings me joy, blending the real and the imagined in my images. Sometimes though an image captures my attention and demands to be painted, pushing me to try new techniques. These images include my beginnings but also my continuing journey as a painter.
