It all started last spring with a moose.
Now often when you hear a story start like that you think a freak snow storm, an out of control car and an 800 pound, 6 foot immovable herbivore in the middle of the road. Not so. This story started with a moose image, all whites and greys that I chose to paint with my own interpretation - namely loads of colour. I posted it on Facebook, like so many other images at the time, only to find myself launching into print sales as some of my friends fell in love with the image but wanted something more affordable. The original did sell, as did a few of my other original paintings, but the option of a select few limited prints was born.
You may notice that I have not done a print sale since - not because I haven't been painting new works, but because the concept of sending select images to print without knowing which will sell, is well, not really lucrative. So this year I am posting the images that "may" go to press to make in a limited print set, but this year I am taking pre-orders. When I get a minimum order I will send the images out to print and fulfill the orders after contacting each interested person.
